Snapping the module into the Visor doesn't add too much additional size. It doesn't increase the thickness at all, and only adds 2 cm to the total length. If you are worried that you will look strange holding your Visor up to you eye have no fear. The image is displayed on the Visor screen in real time eliminating the need for a viewfinder.
Another benefit of the eyemodule 2 is that it doesn't require any additional batteries. A handheld user who is already worried about having enough batteries on hand won't want to carry another set around just for the eyemodule.
