Fourth generation wireless will be rolled out by this time next year by wireless operators in an effort to leapfrog expensive and ineffective third generation wireless strategies, according to a new study from Visant Strategies.
Visant found that leading wireless carriers are planning beta deployments of a number of different 4G air interfaces, and that 4G cellular technologies may be deployed as soon as the middle of 2003.
