By Vikki Lipset
The Intermec 760 Color device integrates three radios that support wireless local area networks (LAN) via 802.11b, personal area networks (PAN) via Bluetooth, and wide area networks (WAN) via either GPRS or CDMA. "The 760's extended connectivity capabilities improve the quality of information moving throughout an enterprise, increase accuracy at the point of data collection and provide timely information -- all factors that drive better decision making," said Rich Sherman, Intermec director of marketing for terminals and computers. The device also offers integrated imager options to read 1D and 2D bar codes and supports photography applications, including signature capture. Related Links:
