Handango announced at CTIA that it would be extending its relationship with PocketX Software to bring its intelligent on-device client, Handango InHand, to Windows Mobile Smartphones. PocketX provided the client-side development for Handango InHand and integrated it with Handango AMPP, Handango's application management and provisioning platform.

Handango claims the Windows Mobile Smartphone edition of Handango InHand offers carriers and handset manufactures the ability to increase the attach rate for mobile downloads, including software, games, themes and ringtones, by delivering an on-device, fully-managed and branded users experience to mobile subscribers. InHand offers select titles from Handango's collection of applications.

Also at CITA, Sierra Wireless and Handango announced an agreement to bundle Handango InHand on all versions of the upcoming Voq Professional Phone, which is based on Windows Mobile. InHand will let Voq users try, download and buy software over-the-air.
