AvantGo and Audi has kicked off this year's College Hoops Channel, which is devoted to college basketball and March Madness in particular. The channel is part of AvantGo's free service that delivers personalized mobile websites to PDAs and smartphones.
In its third year, AvantGo said the PDA-based channel provides basketball fans with all the NCAA Men's Division 1 tournament action, supplying up-to-the-minute information directly to users' handheld devices. With content provided by Sporting News, AvantGo users will
receive the latest scores, schedules and bracket information to stay on top
of tournament action when they are away from their televisions and
computers.
