Astraware is offering significant discounts and new games for the Windows Mobile Smartphone and Pocket PC as well Palm OS platforms.

Astraware, one the best game developers for the Pocket PC and Palm platforms, has released new games and is running an attractive promotion this April called, of all things, April Foolishness.

The discounts Astraware is offering, however, aren't a joke. For the first two weeks of April its discounting many of its most famous titles, including Bejeweled, Insaniquarium, Text Twist, Cubis, and more by 50%.

Back in November, Astraware announced it would port many of MumboJumbo's online games for mobile devices. Well, Chainz, the first of their games licensed from Mumbo Jumbo has been released. Chainz is a strategic puzzle game for Pocket PC and Palm OS handhelds. The launch price is $17.95, but because of its April Foolishness promotion, Chainz will be on sale for $9.95 until the 14th.
