OAG (Official Airline Guides), a resource of flight schedule information, has released OAG WorldMate ($69.95), an application that enables travelers to access flight and travel information on their Palm OS and Pocket PC PDA or smartphone.

OAG WorldMate is the result of an agreement between OAG and MobiMate, the creator of WorldMate. The agreement adds MobiMate products with the inclusion of OAG's flight schedules data.

Using data from OAG's flight schedules database, OAG WorldMate includes all published direct and connecting flights worldwide from over 900 airlines. So users can download schedules for up to 5 city pairs at a time and view the 50 fastest connections to a destination.

Other featurs include the ability to view day-to-day itineraries, from flight times and hotel addresses to meeting details and car rental numbers. In addition, travelers can export all data to the calendar on a PC, as well as access real-time weather updates with 5-day weather forecasts from the Weather Channel for over 38,000 locations worldwide.

The usual array of WorldMate features also include access to local time, suitable tip recommendations, maps, and conversions for everything from currencies and clothes sizes to temperatures and measurements.
