Mobile application marketplace PowerByHand has started offering a special edition collection of software for Treo 600, the most popular smartphone in the United States.

According to PowerByHand, the collection includes ten business, productivity and entertainment titles for the Palm OS and is available on a limited edition Secure Digital card for mobile operators. Consumers can access the collection directly at PowerByHand's PalmGear store.

The ten Treo 600 smartphone applications available in the collection include:

-- Skinner for Treo 600 by 79b Media
-- Pocket Tunes by NormSoft
-- SplashPhoto by Splash Data
-- BackupBuddy by Blue Nomad
-- Agendus by iambic
-- Facer Launcher by PocketCraft Software
-- WiFile by Hands High Software
-- PhoneMagic by PhoneMagic (Penticon)

While PowerByHand has made a big deal about offering this collection, it doesn't appear that Treo 600 owners will get a discount should they decide to purchase all the applications together. The ten applications in the collection range in price from about $7 to $35.
