The Open eBook Forum—the standards association for the eBook industry—has compiled its list of the top-ten best selling eBooks for last year. Not surprisingly, Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code topped the list and his Angels & Demons and Deception Point round out the top three.

Although eBook sales aren't a match for traditional paperback and hard cover book sales (1.4 million downloadable books compared with the more than 2.2 billion traditional books sold in the United States in 2003), they are on the rise.

According to the Open eBook Forum, eBook revenues ($3,227,972) for the third quarter of 2004 by 25 percent ($2,591,469) and units sold grew 11 percent (419,962 eBooks), from the same quarter in 2003.

You can curl (?) up with an eBooks with a number of different devices, including PCs, eBook-specific readers, PDAs, and smartphones.
