Learn what cellular is?(Post above)
Sprint (Verizon, etc, all in USA but Cingular and T-Mobil) = CDMA
Rest of world = GSM.

Treo can be ordered with either radio. In US, if you buy one through Sprint, you get phone with CDMA radio.. which won't work anywhere outside the US. If you buy it as a GSM phone, it works everywhere but the US (unless you sign-up with T-mobile or Cingular and get an appropriate SIM chip for the phone...)
Learn what your using before you think its a hardware issue!

In close to 13 years of cell phone usage
the P910a is the closest thing to perfection I've had the pleasure of using! Good work Sony-Ericsson!

What gives Sprint ?
I have had my treo for over a year now. In the U.S. I was enjoying my service. Then a friend of mine got a treo 650. I thought this will be nice I can call him in Indiana on it. He also has Sprint. Since then almost every time I call him, there is a call drop. What gives Sprint ? I also just got back from Mexico. Left my treo 600 at home since it will not work outside the U.S. Only to find a lady in Mexico that just returned from China sporting a treo 600 . I told here it might not work in Mexico. She said yes it will , she said it will also work in China. She said the trick is. She does not use Sprint.
