Mobile game vendor Astraware, in conjunction with fellow developer PopCap, recently released a new puzzle game called Pixelus for the Palm and Windows Mobile platforms.

Palm

Originally developed for PC by Nuclide, the game is set on the mythical island of Pixelus, where players must navigate various Classical temples to recreate mosaic floors by replacing missing tiles. Each temple contains an increasing number of mosaic puzzles that must be completed to escape the island.

Palm

To complete the puzzles players slide tiles into place using other tiles as a guide. As each puzzle is solved it displays the completed mosaic in full color. Pixelus has over 200 puzzles at varying levels of difficulty.

Pocket PC

Pixelus is available for Palm OS 5.0 and Pocket PC PDAs and handsets for $19.95.
