Prolifiq enables companies to manage marketing material or any other type of corporate document, from simple PDF's to complex video. Through the company's OnPoint Messaging system, now on version 3.0, when a customer or prospect needs information to drive a decision, sales people in the field or in the office can deliver it, without delay, and without technical barriers, according to the application service provider.

Over the past year, the company has extended OnPoint to handhelds, including Pocket PC and Treos. The most recent addition to Prolifiq's smartphone stable are Research In Motion's wireless handhelds through OnPoint Mobile for Blackberry.

Field and sale personal can send information from the OnPoint Messaging system to prospective customers via OnPoint Mobile on a handheld through templates that have been setup by the home office before the device has been rolled out. The content sent from OnPoint Mobile isn’t necessarily downloaded or stored on their devices.

As you can see from the above image, the templates are very basic. On the BlackBerry, OnPoint Mobile is accessed through an icon on the Home screen.

With OnPoint Mobile, marketing teams can also quickly deploy new content to the field, and sales teams can deliver branded content to qualified leads, says Prolifiq. In addition, sales people can receive instant notifications when customers and prospects read and forward messages.
