Just released, Astraware Boardgames bundles together eight popular games, each with user-customizable rules and a range of difficulty levels. There's Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, Ludo, Reversi, Snakes and Ladders, Nine Men's Morris and Tic Tac Toe in the bundle.
The set offers 3 levels of gameplay with the option to play against the computer or with other players. Standard Astraware features include user profiles, sound effects throughout, and automatic saving when you exit or receive a phone call.
According to Astraware, with the new title they've tried to evoke the feel of classic board games. For example, the graphics feature wooden boards and traditional playing pieces.
Astraware Boardgames is on sale now for $9.95. It will normally go for $19.95. There are versions for the Palm OS and all flavors of Windows Mobile from 2003 onward.
