RIM's launched a MySpace application for BlackBerry smartphones today. The software is available for download Iat www.blackberry.com/myspace or m.myspace.com from the BlackBerry browser. This news follows the release of Facebook application for BlackBerry by almost exactly a year.
The mob-e-mail leader is also launching a BlackBerry community page on MySpace at www.myspace.com/blackberry, where it plans to highlight the newest BlackBerry applications, both from RIM and their partners, as well as accessories, news, contests, new device tutorials, videos, etc., according to RIM.
RIM said the new MySpace for BlackBerry application is fully optimized to deliver rich content and data to users. It integrates MySpace's main social networking components with the BlackBerry platform to provide instant, push-based messaging to BlackBerry and MySpace users.
