Documents To Go Now Available for Windows Mobiles with Touch Screens

This week, DataViz released the latest version of Documents To Go Premium Edition 3.0, for Microsoft-run devices running on the Windows Mobile 6.x Professional and 5.0 for Pocket PC Phone Edition platforms -in other words, smartphones with touch screens.

Documents To Go is one of the most popular - and long running - mobile office applications available. It allows users to view, edit and sync Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) files and PDF files in their native formats. Versions are also available for Windows Mobiles without touch screens, BlackBerry, the Palm OS and Symbian S60 and UIQ platforms.

The new edition sports an enhanced the PDF viewer, supports password protected Word and Excel files, and DataViz's InTact Technology, which promises to retain 100 percent file formatting when editing files on a device, the ability to view, edit and create Excel charts and decompress, zip and send e-mail attachments.

Pricing for of Documents To Go Premium Edition 3.0 starts at $29.99 per license with volume licenses available for five or more users.

An optimized version to support higher-resolution screen smartphones such the HTC Touch Pro and HTC Touch Diamond will be available in the next several weeks.
