When you want to know the version of an application on your Windows machine, you click the "About" menu. On a BlackBerry, to get a similar display of application details:

  •
  • Start from the home screen.
  •
  • Press the BlackBerry Menu button-->Options-->Advanced Options-->Applications and then wait a few seconds for your application list to build.

The list will show you the version of each application. Click on one to get additional information about that package. Both applications that shipped with your device and those you have downloaded should appear on the list.
