AP Mobile Picks Up Weather Information

By James Alan Miller
June 25, 2009

AccuWeather just announced that it's partnering with The Associated Press to add weather information to AP Mobile, a news application available for Apple’s mobile devices with iPhone OS 3.0 installed and the new Nokia N97 smartphone. As AP Mobile's weather content provider, AccuWeather says it will provide a full range of weather data updated hourly for locations all over the world. This includes info on current local weather conditions, 5-day local forecasts, radar and satellite images (where available), and links to the AccuWeather.com Mobile website for more in depth coverage. AP Mobile (free) is available for the iPhone and iPod touch here at the iTunes App Store. It is pre-loaded onto the Nokia N97.
